Become a Sponsor
So you can't adopt a greyhound but you still want to help? Sponsorship is a
wonderful way for those individuals who cannot physically adopt a greyhound to participate
fully in our rescue and adoption effort. It also allows groups such as school
classrooms, nursing home residents, etc. to sponsor a hound. Just check out the
Greyhound Profiles and look for the "Sponsor Me" link and make a donation on
behalf of the greyhound of your choice.
Occasionally, a dog
may require special medical attention. If you see this expense under a
dog profile, and would like to contribute to these additional expenses,
please note it in your sponsorship.
You can submit your sponsorship
donation via PayPal or by mail. Leave
the Name Space blank if you are paying by PayPal and would like someone to choose the dog
for you.

Tait
(Previous
Home)

Hello everyone. My name is Tait and I’m 7 years old. It is my turn to tell
you my story. First of all they wanted me to let you know that I’m not fond
of cats. I was lucky enough to live in a home for about 5 months. At first
everything was great. Unfortunately, my new mom’s schedule changed and she
wasn’t around as often. I have to admit, I was a little rattled by this
change. Needless to say, she brought me back to the kennel. I’ve been here
this second time around for 7 months, and I’m doing really well. I’m very
quiet in my crate. I’m not stressed at all. I’m very good about waiting to
go outside, and never make a mess. I’m a little more serious and not much
of a player. I prefer to stay close to the humans and get all the attention
they can give. I really believe I’m ready to go back into a home and am
looking forward to it. If you’re looking for a quiet boy who’s a little
older, please give me a chance.

Ace
(Date A Ace)

ADOPTION PENDING
Hi, my name is Ace, and I’m 4 years old.
No cats. I’ve been told I am very handsome and distinguished looking.
I think my best features are my ears. If I hear the slightest noise or
smell the littlest smell they go straight up in the air. I have to say,
they are straight up an awful lot. I’m a very calm boy and prefer to
stand and get rubbed over playing with toys. I’m not sure I get the
whole toy thing yet, but I’m sure I can learn what they are about. I’m
well behaved on a leash and in my crate. I think if you would take me
home, I would settle in pretty easy. I would really, really like to go
home with you.

Carl
(Redfish)

ADOPTION PENDING
Hi. Let me introduce myself. My name is
Carl. I’m 4 years old and I don’t like cats. I’m a little more serious
than some of the goofy boys currently residing here. I did find out I
have a playful side when I was introduced to a squeaky toy. It felt
nice to be a little silly for once. My favorite thing ever though is to
be rubbed and loved on. I really like to just stand next to a human and
feel the comfort of their hand on my back. While here at the kennel,
I’ve taken it upon myself to be the inspector. I like to watch to make
sure the carpets are checked for any mess, and that the kennels are
cleaned correctly. Once I have made sure the job has been done, I will
go outside to take care of my own business. They tell me I am a very
handsome boy and will make a wonderful companion. I go to bed every
night wondering if tomorrow will be my chance to prove them right.
